MOD policy and activity in this area is compliant with both domestic and international law. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/06/2019 answer text <p>The number of Officer Cadets who attended either independent or state schools, on the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) Direct Entry (DE) Regular Commissioning (Reg C) Course in the last five years can be found in the attached table.</p><p> </p><p>Officer selection focusses on leadership potential rather than the school attended. Such data is only recorded for the DE Reg C course. The majority of these courses are delivered in the UK, but there are a small number of courses delivered overseas. The tables in the attached document provide the following information:</p><p>Tables 1-11: The number of participants, by country, in the highest profile UK-based courses for which there is a consistent high level of international demand for places.</p><p>Tables 12-14: The number of courses delivered overseas by country, and the total number of participants across those courses.
