We are therefore unable to provide figures for this period. From 1 January 2014 local authorities have received funding equivalent to the level of BSOG which would otherwise have been paid to operators for running subsidised services in 2014. The current dataset provides details of amounts paid up to and including the period to 31/03/21. unstar this property answer text <p>The department does not routinely collect data on the number of children who are accessing programmes through children’s centres or family hubs. This data is held at a local level.</p><p>Local authorities have statutory duties under Part 1 of the Childcare Act 2006 to facilitate access to early childhood services and encourage parents to take advantage of them. The act, and the duties, are available to view here: <a href="https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/21/part/1" target="_blank">https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/21/part/1</a>.</p><p>Local authorities should be reviewing data on service use and outcomes to ensure that they are meeting these duties and that their commissioning decisions are informed by evidence of the impact of their local services.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>The digital NHS COVID Pass for travel and use in England based on recovery is already available and can be accessed via the NHS App and NHS.UK. The digital Pass can be obtained following a positive National Health Service polymerase chain reaction result within the last 180 days and completion of the 10 day self-isolation period. NHS Test and Trace test results are generally available to individuals the next day or up to three days. The information requested on average waiting times for recovery passes is not held centrally. Recovery data should be available to the NHS COVID Pass service before the end of the self-isolation period, with 80% of recorded results available within two hours. Private tests are not currently included in the NHS COVID Pass.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>The ICE report is retrospective and many of the cases referenced date back to the pandemic or even earlier, this was a challenging time for DWP and we expect volumes to decrease now the service has stabilised. We continue to value ICE and we learn from the cases, helping us to put things right.</p><p> </p><p>The report reflects the experience of a small proportion of DWP customers as the vast majority of complaints are handled by DWP, with only a small proportion escalating to the Independent Case Examiner who provide an independent avenue for customers.</p><p> </p><p>Overall complaints to DWP remain significantly lower than pre-pandemic. Complaints equate to less than 1% of the department’s caseload.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>There is no service standard for the period of time a complaint is awaiting allocation to an investigator. This is because ICE has no control over the number of complaints it receives, which can vary significantly from month to month and year to year. Other factors which affect the rate of allocation of complaints are the complexity of the individual complaint to be investigated, the evidence required to do that, the available investigative resource and the volume of work on hand. The ICE office is, nevertheless, continuously reviewing its processes and operating model to improve productivity.</p> more like this
