<p>The anti- knife crime Community Fund invited bids for funding in October 2017.
Bids were assessed on the extent to which they demonstrated the following criteria:</p><ul><li>Delivery
of outcomes to tackle knife crime;</li><li>A proven track record of delivering local
interventions;</li><li>Ability to work with children and young people;</li><li>Value
for money; and</li><li>How they will work in partnership with other projects and services
already being delivered in the local area.</li></ul><p>The Community Fund received
368 bids and 47 were awarded funding. In total £765,000 was made available to support
the successful bids in 2017/18.</p>
