	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/04/2024 answer text <p>The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), in partnership with NHS England and the Department, undertakes a range of actions to improve vaccination coverage for all ages in England. This includes initiatives to improve access to the immunisation programme, data to better identify under-served individuals and populations, training for healthcare professionals, and communication with the public.</p><p> </p><p>For example, on 4 March 2024, the UKHSA launched a new multi-media marketing campaign across England to remind parents and carers of the risk of their children missing out on protection against serious diseases that are re-emerging in the country, with an urgent call to action to catch up on missed vaccinations.</p><p> </p><p>Expectant mothers are encouraged to take up the maternal pertussis vaccine, which is 97% effective at preventing death in young infants from whooping cough. The UK’s approach is focused on transparency. Over the last two years we have introduced enhanced export controls, new guidance on the risks of doing business in Xinjiang and announced the introduction of financial penalties under the Modern Slavery Act.</p><p> </p><p>The Government also supports voluntary due diligence approaches by UK businesses.</p><p> </p><p>The UK’s main solar trade association is leading industry’s response by developing and piloting the Solar Stewardship Initiative to further develop a responsible, transparent, and sustainable solar value chain. Our Ambassador and Embassy in Dakar regularly engage with the Senegalese Government and civil society groups, together with international partners to reinforce these messages. The Embassy coordinated closely with international partners to observe the Senegalese Presidential elections, including by sending diplomatic staff as observers to polling stations across the country. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/04/2024 answer text <p>The conflict that started on 15 April 2023 has displaced more than 8 million people, including over 1.9 million who have fled to neighbouring countries. The UK recognises the significant pressure that the conflict is putting on neighbouring countries and commends them for the support they are providing. The UK provided £42.6 million in humanitarian aid to Sudan last financial year. We will provide £89 million (the vast majority of which, for humanitarian assistance) for the year ahead. We also provided help to those fleeing to neighbouring countries last year, with £7.75 million to support existing and new Sudanese refugees as well as vulnerable returnees and host communities in South Sudan and £15 million to Chad.
