<p>Based on available estimates of floor areas for the Blue Zone and Green Zone, energy
usage amounted to approximately 900,000 kWh electrical and 2,500,000 kWh thermal.
This accounts for the build, live-event, and de-rig phases of the conference.</p><p>We
are now receiving actual event data from our delivery partners and are working with
Arup, our sustainability consultants, on collating and reconciling all data from suppliers
and delivery partners to inform the final offsetting figure and ensure COP26 was a
carbon neutral event. Details of the action taken to mitigate impacts in delivery
and further detail on the offsetting of unavoidable emissions will be provided in
our sustainability report due for publication in the coming months.</p><p> </p>
