star this property answer text <p>The Home Office handles information collected and processed as part of the borders and immigration system in accordance with the Home Office’s Personal Information Charter. This can be found on the HO at <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/home-office/about/personal-information-charter" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/home-office/about/personal-information-charter</a></p><p>Our requirements have not changed. We recognise the need to provide MPs with information in order that they can effectively represent their constituents. In doing this in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulations then, as before, we must be satisfied that the MP has authority to act for the individual whose information has been requested prior to releasing that information</p> more like this
