	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/01/2018 answer text <p>Washing machines placed on the market on or after the 8 December 2016 must comply with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and before that date with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994. As these regulations require manufacturers to ensure that washing machines they place on the market are safe, this means any filter used in the product must also be safe. That is why we are working in partnership with vulnerable group representatives, Local Authorities and other experts to identify user needs and provide the needed support.</p><p>Since Spring 2018, Local Authorities and Devolved Administration officials have attended regular discussion forums with the Home Office. The EU Settlement Scheme enables them to do so. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/11/2018 answer text <p>Citizens’ rights has been our first priority since the very beginning of this process.</p><p>In December 2017, we reached a fair and reciprocal agreement with the EU on the rights of EU citizens in the UK and UK nationals in the EU, and this is set out in the draft Withdrawal Agreement. The agreement confirms that any UK national resident in the EU by December 2020 will be able to stay in their Member State of residence and will provide citizens more certainty about healthcare, pensions and other benefits.</p><p>While the Government is preparing for a range of scenarios, including the unlikely event that we reach March 2019 without agreeing a deal, the Prime Minister stated to EU citizens on 21 September “I want to be clear with you that even in the event of no deal your rights will be protected. You are our friends, our neighbours, our colleagues.
