As these regulations require manufacturers to ensure that washing machines they place on the market are safe, this means any filter used in the product must also be safe. The EU Settlement Scheme enables them to do so. The agreement confirms that any UK national resident in the EU by December 2020 will be able to stay in their Member State of residence and will provide citizens more certainty about healthcare, pensions and other benefits.</p><p>While the Government is preparing for a range of scenarios, including the unlikely event that we reach March 2019 without agreeing a deal, the Prime Minister stated to EU citizens on 21 September “I want to be clear with you that even in the event of no deal your rights will be protected. You are our friends, our neighbours, our colleagues. The issue was highlighted by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in the final report of their care home market study published on 30 November 2017.</p><p> </p><p>It is right that the CMA is taking enforcement action where appropriate and we welcome that the CMA will provide guidance on consumer law for the adult social care sector. The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has issued a Request for Information to industry, inviting high level proposals against the outline requirements, cost and schedule, namely, an initial order of five ships at a maximum average price of £250 million. In common with all procurement projects, the programme cost will be determined at the main investment decision point.</p><p>The MOD has signed contracts worth a total of £635 million to build five Batch 2 Offshore Patrol Vessels.
