	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/01/2018 answer text <p>Washing machines placed on the market on or after the 8 December 2016 must comply with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and before that date with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994. As these regulations require manufacturers to ensure that washing machines they place on the market are safe, this means any filter used in the product must also be safe. The Spring Budget allocated up to £40m to fund pilots over the next two years which will help understand how best to engage adults about the opportunities and benefits of training.</p><p> </p><p>We are publishing a careers strategy shortly that will have a clear focus on social mobility. It will also include proposals to improve the quality and coverage of careers advice in schools and colleges. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/02/2018 answer text <p>An estimate of the number of people resident in Plymouth, Sutton and Devonport constituency who have unmet social care needs is not held centrally.</p><p> </p><p>The Care Act 2014 requires that where an adult or carer appears to have care and support needs the local authority must carry out an assessment. It must then decide if the person has eligible needs by considering the outcomes the person wants to achieve, what needs they have, and how these impact on their wellbeing. Where a person is assessed as having eligible care and support needs, these must be met by their local authority. The issue was highlighted by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in the final report of their care home market study published on 30 November 2017.</p><p> </p><p>It is right that the CMA is taking enforcement action where appropriate and we welcome that the CMA will provide guidance on consumer law for the adult social care sector. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/11/2018 answer text <p>Citizens’ rights has been our first priority since the very beginning of this process.</p><p>In December 2017, we reached a fair and reciprocal agreement with the EU on the rights of EU citizens in the UK and UK nationals in the EU, and this is set out in the draft Withdrawal Agreement. The agreement confirms that any UK national resident in the EU by December 2020 will be able to stay in their Member State of residence and will provide citizens more certainty about healthcare, pensions and other benefits.</p><p>While the Government is preparing for a range of scenarios, including the unlikely event that we reach March 2019 without agreeing a deal, the Prime Minister stated to EU citizens on 21 September “I want to be clear with you that even in the event of no deal your rights will be protected. You are our friends, our neighbours, our colleagues.
