star this property answer text <p>The cost of recladding a tower block varies significantly depending on the individual characteristics of the building.</p><p>My Department has made clear that it considers that building owners should take responsibility for funding fire safety measures including replacement of dangerous cladding. Government will consider financial flexibilities for local authorities who need to undertake essential fire safety work to make a building safe.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government will fully fund the removal and replacement of potentially dangerous Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) cladding on buildings over 18 metres owned by social landlords, with costs estimated at £400 million.</p><p>This will ensure that they can focus their efforts on making ACM cladding systems safe for the buildings they own.</p><p>We want to allocate this funding for remediation as soon as possible and will announce more details shortly.</p> more like this

We need to carry out the required due diligence before we can take decisions on eligibility, confirm the total amount of funding required and start to make payments. star this property answer text <p>In the Industrial Strategy Green Paper published in January 2017, the Government set out an ambitious plan to encourage ongoing learning throughout peoples’ working lives. The Spring Budget allocated up to £40m to fund pilots over the next two years which will help understand how best to engage adults about the opportunities and benefits of training.</p><p> </p><p>We are publishing a careers strategy shortly that will have a clear focus on social mobility. It will also include proposals to improve the quality and coverage of careers advice in schools and colleges. This advice will provide an additional stream of information for young people wishing to access training during their working lives.</p> more like this
