	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/06/2019 answer text <p>Rape and serious sexual assault offence (RASSO) cases are among the most sensitive and complex cases prosecuted by the CPS, and they have a profound impact on victims. To address this, CPS has undertaken extensive work over the last decade to ensure that specialist prosecutors are fully equipped to deal with the particular complexities of rape cases.</p><p> </p><p>The vast majority of RASSO cases are handled by specialist prosecutors working in either dedicated Area RASSO units or the dedicated CPS charging service CPS Direct. The first dedicated Area RASSO Units were established in 2014. The number of RASSO unit prosecutors and CPS Direct Prosecutors is displayed at Annex A.</p><p> </p><p>A small number of rape and serious sexual offence cases are dealt with by RASSO trained specialist prosecutors in the Central Casework Divisions (CCDs). Cases involving rape and serious sexual offences are some of the most challenging and complex cases that the CPS deals with. They involve very little corroborative evidence in comparison with other cases which can result in them taking longer to progress through the system. Where evidence submitted by the Police is sufficient to bring charges, the CPS will not hesitate to prosecute. The CPS works closely with the Police to ensure that cases are thoroughly investigated before charges are brought because it is in the interests of both victims and perpetrators that cases do not collapse mid-trial.</p><p> </p><p>The CPS does not maintain a record of the number of days between referral and a non-charging outcome. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/07/2019 answer text <p>The #knifefree campaign has delivered over 266m impressions on social media over multiple bursts of campaign activity since launch in March 2018.</p><p>This figure represents the number of times the adverts have been delivered to young people on social media (twitter, instagram, snapchat) giving the opportunity to see them. However, it does not represent the number of people who have actually seen the adverts; impressions are not unique and adverts may be delivered to people multiple times over the campaign periods.</p><p>Advertising has run across a range of channels including outdoor posters, online videos, digital audio and social media. We have estimated reach figures for the #knifefree campaign activity; with each burst of paid media estimated to have reached 6 million 15-24 year olds, achieving millions of views of our campaign videos. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/06/2019 answer text <p>At the start of June 2019, 20,000 teachers and professionals were sent new Key Stage 3 and 4 lesson plans via the PSHE association, to further equip them to challenge myths and communicate to their pupils the dangers of carrying a knife.</p><p>The #knifefree lesson plans have been made available to secondary schools across the UK, to download from the PSHE Association website. It is up to individual schools to download and use the lesson plans in their classrooms.</p><p>The lesson plans released in 2018 had been downloaded over 14,000 times by June 2019 when the new lesson plans launched.
