	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/02/2016 answer text Tourism is a devolved matter, so it is for each of the home nations to decide on the structure and activities of their national tourist boards. <p /><p />The Government has decided that the British Tourist Authority should continue to trade as VisitBritain and VisitEngland - with VisitBritain focussed on the promotion of Britain overseas, and VisitEngland focussed on the development of English tourism product. VisitEngland will do this through a new £40m Discover England fund. <p /><p />Funding for British tourism will now be ring-fenced and the Government is committed to setting challenging targets for VisitBritain to encourage more visitors to explore beyond London. The only deadline we have set is to hold the referendum by the end of 2017. This reflects the close relationship which we now enjoy with the Government of Ireland and the Irish people. Discussions cover all issues, including the impact that the British Government’s proposals for reform will have on Ireland, our closest neighbour and friend. Most recently the Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon. Friend the Member for Aylesbury (Mr David Lidington), visited Dublin on 26 May for consultations on EU reform; the first visit he made after his reappointment following the general election.</p><p>This Government intends to seek reforms in the EU which will benefit not just the UK but all Member States. The Prime Minister, my right hon. Friend the Member for Witney (Mr Cameron), is confident that he can and will succeed in negotiating to reform the European Union and maintain Britain’s position within it. Friend the Secretary of State issued a written ministerial statement and published the ‘School Teachers’ Review Body’ report on 24 July 2018. Department officials wrote to all statutory consultees, including the teaching unions in Wales, to invite them to comment on the report, the government’s response to it, the revised ‘School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions’ document and accompanying pay order. The consultation lasted for six weeks, ending on 3 September 2018. Undeb Cenedlaethol Athrawon Cymru (UCAC) provided a response and evidence to the consultation on 3 September 2018. The department also invited all statutory consultees to meet Department for Education officials to discuss the report. Through the £8.5m grant the Government has provided to support the police modern slavery transformation programme, an accredited modern slavery training course has been developed for all frontline officers and staff. This is supplemented by a specialist investigators’ course for detectives.
