There have been no reports of civilian casualties as a result.

The weapons have all been Paveway IV guided bombs from RAF Tornado GR4 and Typhoon aircraft. The UK released six Paveway IV on 2 December, one on 3 December, eight on 4 December and six on 6 December. These have all been against targets in the Daesh-controlled Omar oilfield in eastern Syria.

We will not release the exact location and timing of each strike as this could compromise our operational capabilities. All UK airstrikes are conducted in accordance with Rules of Engagement and International Humanitarian Law. Targets are selected with the utmost care; the risks of collateral damage or civilian casualties are assessed and mitigated based on intelligence and the use of precision guided weapons.
more like this

star this property answer text
Lupron is not an authorised medicine in the United Kingdom. The Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient in Lupron is Leuprorelin which is classed as a prescription only medicine and is present in Prostap 3 which is licensed in the UK.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has regulatory responsibility for medicines and medical devices. The MHRA has no recorded seizures of Lupron, Leuprolin or Prostap 3.

There is provision in medicines regulations for the import of unauthorised medicines for specific use by named patients. In the last five years, there have been 25 notifications of the import of leuprolide/leuprorelin.

Additionally, there are no formal restrictions on an individual importing medicines into the UK provided they are strictly for use by that person or a member of their immediate family. Legal controls on the retail sale, supply and advertising of medicines are set out in the Human Medicines Regulations 2012. These apply without distinction to medicines advertised, sold or supplied through the internet.

Websites offering to supply unauthorised medicines to UK citizens are breaching UK legal requirements. The MHRA investigates reports of illegal activity taking place on a website and, where appropriate, takes enforcement action against suppliers who operate outside the legal requirements. However, considerable illegal activity takes place outside of UK jurisdiction and illegally trading websites identified overseas are referred to the relevant country for appropriate action.

Performance against the metrics in the scorecard is linked to the bonuses of senior managers.

In terms of the company’s Executive Directors, each year Network Rail’s Remuneration Committee assesses performance for the year and decides whether the scorecard out-turn should be adjusted on safety grounds. Network Rail’s Management Incentive Plan states that in the event of a serious safety incident during the year, which impacts passengers, the workforce or the public, for which Network Rail was responsible, no incentive would normally be payable to any executive director for that year.
more like this

We will implement the policy in the Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) franchise, which includes Southern, within months. Following its introduction on GTR services, ‘Delay Repay 15’ will then be rolled out across the network starting with the new South Western, West Midlands and South Eastern franchises. All franchise competitions let by the Department for Transport (DfT) will include requirements to introduce this policy and the DfT is exploring opportunities to roll this out for all DfT franchises during this Parliament.
more like this
