Businesses are able to receive an invitation by emailing a request to <a href="mailto:paymentpracticesreporting@beis.gov.uk" target="_blank">paymentpracticesreporting@beis.gov.uk</a>. Businesses in scope of the requirement must publish payment practices and performance information for their financial year starting on or after 6 April 2017. This reflects the changes to maximum fines which may be imposed on summary conviction in England and Wales under the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012. In Scotland and Northern Ireland, fines cannot exceed Level 5 of the Standard Scale.
