<p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In 2012 and 2013 there were 1,125 and 1,174 applications
for asylum received from children arriving unaccompanied into the United Kingdom (Unaccompanied
Asylum Seeking Children). <br><br>These figures are available in table as_08 (Asylum
data tables Volume 2) of Immigration Statistics October to December 2013:<br><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/immigration-statistics-october-to-decmber-2013"
target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/immigration-statistics-october-to-decmber-2013</a>.<br><br>There
are currently no comparable figures for 2011. An internal review of UASC data highlighted
issues with the definitions used for data published prior to 2012. Revised UASC figures
for 2011 will be published in Immigration Statistics January to March 2014 on 22 May
