	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/06/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>The UK led the call for the urgent imposition of EU sanctions, imposing an asset freeze on 22 individuals suspected of misappropriating funds from the Ukrainian state. <br><br>Those assets which are proven to be the proceeds of corruption through criminal investigations, and subsequently confiscated, will be returned to Ukraine.<br><br>We do not release information on the value of assets frozen under financial sanctions in the UK for reasons of confidentiality, and we do not hold information on the value of assets frozen overseas. <br><br>It is our policy to work closely with other governments to assist them to trace and repatriate stolen assets. All appropriate criminal justice and administrative routes to support the Ukrainians are being explored. The Director of the Serious Fraud Office has opened a criminal investigation into possible money laundering arising from suspicions of corruption in Ukraine. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/06/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>The EU established the Centre for Information and Migration Management (CIGEM) in Bamako in 2008 in conjunction with the Malian authorities. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/07/2014 answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p>At the end of December 2011, 331 asylum applications from main applicants, aged 17 or under, were pending a further review, 184 at the end of December 2012 and 206 at the end of December 2013. Cases pending further review are those in the appeals process (all tiers), but exclude those that are pending a judicial review. <br><br>In 2011, 150 appeals from applicants aged 17 or under were allowed; 152 in 2012 and 125 in 2013.<br><br>Appeal determinations do not necessarily relate to those pending a further review in the same period. The figures for appeals determined are cases dealt with by Immigration Judges at the First-tier Tribunal of the Immigration and Asylum Chamber. The figures for pending further review including First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal of the Immigration and Asylum Chamber.<br><br>The figures provided are a subset of latest published statistics which are published by the Home Office on a monthly (pending only) and quarterly basis. The effectiveness of Frontex is entirely reliant on the willingness of the Member States to make those resources available.</p><p> </p><p>Search and Rescue remains outside the competence of the EU or its Agencies, including Frontex.</p><p> </p><p>We expect the Member States to give a positive response to the request from Frontex for adequate resources to deliver the aims of Operation ‘Triton’. ‘Triton’ is a border management operation which operates closer to the European coast than the current Italian operation ‘Mare Nostrum’. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/10/2014 answer text <p>The Government believes that the best way to help EU Member States who are experiencing high levels of illegal migration and asylum claims is through practical co-operation and support to build up their capacity so they can cope with the pressures on their system. We already provide such support and will continue to do so, both through the European Asylum Support Office and bilaterally.
