star this property answer text <p>His Majesty’s Government has recently announced that community wealth funds will become the fourth cause for dormant assets funding in England.</p><p>A community wealth fund will provide funding sources to local communities, with spending decisions made by local residents about how to improve their communities. The Government will soon launch a technical consultation on the design of this important new initiative and welcomes views on how best to ensure its long-term impact; the consultation will be open for 12 weeks.</p><p>Secondary legislation to enable dormant assets funding to be directed to community wealth funds will be introduced as soon as Parliamentary time allows.</p> more like this

In line with Section 29 of the Act, the Secretary of State is currently considering the draft code. Once approved, the code will be laid before Parliament, with or without modifications. If the draft code incorporates any such modifications, the Secretary of State will lay before Parliament a statement setting out the Secretary of State's reasons for making them.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities received the Electoral Commission's draft code of practice for third-party campaigners on controlled expenditure, required by the Elections Act 2022, on the 19 of April 2023. In line with Section 29 of the Act, the Secretary of State is currently considering the draft code. Once approved, the code will be laid before Parliament, with or without modifications. If the draft code incorporates any such modifications, the Secretary of State will lay before Parliament a statement setting out the Secretary of State's reasons for making them.</p> more like this
