	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/12/2017 answer text <p>The Cabinet Office has provided funding to Local Authorities to reflect the increase in costs of registration under individual electoral registration compared to the previous household system. This means that the cost of individual electoral registration has been borne directly by central Government. The amount of funding provided to local authorities in 2013-15 was some £49 million. This was shared between all Electoral Registration Officers in Great Britain. This sum includes £10 million allocated to boost voter registration during the transition. The Cabinet Office continues to provide funding to assist Electoral Registration Officers with the management of electoral registration.</p><p>The Electoral Commission was a major supporter of the introduction of individual electoral registration and played an essential role in its successful implementation. Early intervention services can help reduce some of the effects of FASD and prevent some of the secondary disabilities that result. Responsibility for commissioning these services lies with clinical commissioning groups.</p><p> </p><p>The United Kingdom Chief Medical Officers’ low risk drinking guidelines provide the public with the most up to date scientific information to help people make informed decisions about their own drinking. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2018 answer text <p>Laser equipment, if presented by a manufacturer for the treatment of nail fungal infections, is a Class IIa medical device. As such, the manufacturer of the laser equipment is required to meet the requirements of the Medical Devices Regulations 2002. For a Class IIa device the manufacturer must have a quality management system in place and they must obtain the services of a Notified Body, who will assess the safety and performance of the device before issuing a CE certificate to the manufacturer for the products. The Notified Body assessment will include all aspects of the device, including verification of the manufacturer’s testing for the performance and safety of the device, the manufacturing processes and components of the device and review these in the light of the claims made by the manufacturer for the device concerned. This was the net ingredient cost (NIC) of the products and did not include associated costs such as pharmacist dispensing fees and primary care consultation costs. Following a public consultation on the ‘Availability of Gluten Free Foods on NHS Prescription in Primary Care’ launched on 31 March 2017, the Government has decided to restrict the prescribing of gluten-free foods to bread and mixes only.
