The National Planning Policy Framework is designed for the local authority-led Town and Country Planning system, which usually deals with much smaller developments. As a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project, the Oxford Cambridge Expressway must comply with the (more extensive) requirements of the National Networks National Policy Statement, which are specifically designed to ensure that the impacts of major infrastructure are properly considered and mitigated.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Network Rail is delivering the Great Western Electrification Programme to the dates set out in the latest publication of their Enhancement Delivery plan. Subsequent costs up to termination cannot yet be derived as contracts are still live and invoices pending.</p><p> </p><p>We have made no estimate of the cost of replacing the Seaborne Freight contract with another.
