	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/09/2018 answer text <p>Hinkley Point C benefits from a Contract for Difference, a mechanism that was introduced under Electricity Market Reform. The Government published the terms of the Contract for Difference and a Value for Money assessment at the time the contract was entered into. The Government will provide updates on the project where appropriate.</p><p> </p><p>On the 4 June 2018, the Secretary of State confirmed to Parliament that the Government has entered negotiations with Hitachi with regards to Horizon’s proposed Wylfa Newydd project, based on Anglesey in North Wales. Negotiations are ongoing and no decision has yet been taken to proceed. 	question text	To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, for what reasons the entitlement of spouses of armed forces personnel posted overseas to claim class three national insurance credits only applies to those who reach the state pension age on or after 6 April 2016.

	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/11/2016 answer text <p>This credit only applies to those who reach state pension age on or after 6 April 2016 because entitlement to the new State Pension, introduced on 6 April 2016, is based on a person’s <strong>own</strong> National Insurance contribution record, unlike the old State Pension scheme where it is possible to ‘derive’ a State Pension based on a spouse or civil partner’s contributions.</p><p> </p><p>Under our state pension reforms, introduced on 6 April 2016, over three million women will gain an average of £11 per week more State Pension by 2030.
