The common groups of persons who are not employed by the Department but have the appropriate level of clearance to hold security passes entitling them to enter Departmental premises are: holders of judicial office, non-executive directors, contractors, agency staff, and holders of the common civil service pass. Temporary staff and visitors to the Department’s buildings are issued with an escorted or unescorted day pass subject to the level of their security clearance.
