star this property answer text <p>The policy set out in paragraph 5.3.6 of the National Cyber Security Strategy applies to everyone employed by the Home Office, including contractors.</p><p> </p><p>The Home Office is committed to ensuring that contractors and their staff have a sound awareness of cyber risk matters and they take all necessary safeguards to protect the department’s information.</p><p> </p><p>Cyber security awareness, the need to ensure contractual compliance with Information Assurance standards such as ISO 27001:2013 certification and “Cyber Essentials/ Plus” is included in contract specifications and reviewed as part of the evaluation process. Contractors must comply with the department’s IT security policies and procedures.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The National Cyber Security Tracker is a bi-annual online survey of approximately 4,000 consumers and 1,200 SMEs, designed to measure the adoption of safer cyber security behaviours.</p><p>Survey questions focus on knowledge and experience of cybercrime, as well as brand awareness of the Cyber Aware campaign and broader cross-government initiatives, and adoption of key protective behaviours. Spend on the survey is less than four percent of the campaign budget, well within the Government Communications Service’s best practice guidelines.</p> more like this
