	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/10/2017 answer text <p>Under the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED), at Section 149 of the Equality Act 2010, all Government Departments are required to consider the potential impact of key decisions on groups with protected characteristics and keep a record of their decision-making process. The scope and nature of the analysis undertaken can vary considerably depending on the decision in question and the extent to which equalities considerations are relevant.</p><p>Public bodies have flexibility in how they document their analysis under the PSED and are not explicitly required under the legislation to produce an Equality Impact Assessment (EIA). The first was to support the permanent establishment of the Women and Equalities Select Committee. The Government accepted this recommendation and the committee was made permanent shortly after the 2017 general election.</p><p> </p><p>The second recommendation was to commence Section 106 of the Equality Act 2010, which would impose mandatory diversity reporting for candidates on political parties. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/11/2018 answer text <p>Future decisions on funding will form part of the 2019 Spending Review, but in the meantime the draft Withdrawal Agreement states that the UK would continue to participate in 2014-2020 programmes until they close. Further, due to the Government’s guarantee for EU-funded programmes, UK organisations, including those in Wales, will receive funding in the unlikely event that the Withdrawal Agreement is not ratified.</p><p> </p><p>The UK’s exit from the EU provides us with an opportunity to reconsider how funding for growth across the UK is designed and delivered.
