<p>Health Education England, alongside NHS England, has recently published the Cancer Workforce plan, which sets out the steps to transform the cancer workforce in line with the independent cancer taskforce recommendations. This will aim to improve patient outcomes and deliver a better patient experience across all tumour types, including haematological cancers. The report sets out the plan for improving the training of healthcare professionals, as well as recruitment and retention plans.
