star this property answer text <p /> <p>Over 5.43 million workers have now been automatically enrolled into a workplace pension by their employer, many for the first time. This has reversed the downwards trend seen in workplace pension participation rates since 2003.</p><p> </p><p>So far opt out has been around 10 per cent, which is significantly lower than the original DWP estimate of around 30 per cent. This has seen the programme opt out assumption being adjusted to 15 per cent overall for the lifetime of the programme.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Automatic Enrolment will give around 10 million people the opportunity to save into a workplace pension - we expect to see 8 to 9 million people newly saving or saving more, generating £11 billion a year more in workplace pension saving by 2020.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>117 young people took part in National Citizen Service (NCS) in Crawley and surrounding area in 2014.</p><p>This year will again see NCS programmes taking place in every local authority across England, giving more young people the opportunity to take part in this life changing programme.</p><p>The government is committed to giving as many young people as possible the chance to take part in NCS and the significant growth of the programme so far is set to continue this year across the country.</p><p> </p> more like this

Over half of mid–tier applications to Countryside Stewardship contain the Wild Pollinator and Farm Wildlife Package. Monitoring and evaluation of the scheme makes provisions for assessing the impact on pollinators. star this property answer text <p><strong> </strong></p><p>This Government is providing both tools and funding to local highway authorities in England, outside London, to tackle the condition of our local road network. In the Spending Review 2015, the Government announced that we are allocating a total of £6.1 billion funding for local highways maintenance between now and 2021. This funding includes an additional £250 million between 2016 and 2021 for a potholes action fund to improve local roads, to promote innovation within the sector and to ensure that taxpayers get greater value for money.</p><p> </p><p>For West Sussex we are providing £13.7 million this financial year (2015/16). Further details of the funding we are providing to all local highway authorities in England outside London can be found here:</p><p> </p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/news/6-billion-funding-to-tackle-potholes-and-improve-local-roads" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/news/6-billion-funding-to-tackle-potholes-and-improve-local-roads</a></p><p> </p><p>Local authorities are able to use revenue funding for maintaining their local highways and this is allocated by the Department of Communities and Local Government through the Revenue Support Grant.</p><p> </p><p>The Department for Transport is also funding a street lighting scheme in West Sussex through the Private Finance Initiative.</p><p> </p>

We will set out further details about how this will operate in due course, including any programmes available for employers who will not pay the levy.</p><br /><p>We will also continue to offer employers an apprenticeship recruitment service through Find an Apprenticeship on gov.uk.
