<p>Ofgem is responsible for regulating electricity network companies to deliver their infrastructure. As part of the recent electricity distribution network price control, of the £22.2bn allowed, Ofgem has allowed networks £3.1bn for network upgrades. This will ensure that low carbon technologies, such as electric vehicle charge points, can be installed across Great Britain, including in rural areas.</p>
