NHS England is working alongside Health Education England to expand the number of Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) and develop clear CNS competencies and routes into training. This will aim to improve patient outcomes and deliver a better patient experience across all tumour types, including haematological cancers. The report sets out the plan for improving the training of healthcare professionals, as well as recruitment and retention plans.
