	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/01/2015 answer text <p>£53 million was spent on a project at Gatwick Airport Station in the Crawley constituency over the period from 2010-11 to 2013-14. Network Rail completed work in January 2014 on the scheme, which was designed to improve reliability and punctuality of journeys and increase capacity with a new seventh platform. The project was jointly funded by Network Rail as part of their Railway Control Period 4 plans, and Gatwick Airport Limited.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In addition, the Access for All small schemes programme provided funding of £116,000 for three new height adjustable ticket office windows 2012/13 and £47,400 for a number of accessibility improvements in 2013/14.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Stations Commercial Projects Facility provided £559,023 towards a Southern Railway and Network Rail project to enhance the retail environment at Three Bridges station. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/02/2015 answer text <p>We have taken a number of steps to gain assurances about the quality of non-human primates being imported for research within the legal constraints available to us. We have emphasised to those UK users who acquire these primates that they are responsible for ensuring that the breeders and suppliers they deal with have proper controls and processes in place. In order to be assured that these animals are of appropriate quality for the work authorised on their project licences, they need to be confident of high standards of care and welfare. <br><br>We are aware that, in recent years, these UK users have routinely visited and inspected their overseas primate breeders, and that they do indeed demand these high standards. We are encouraging this to continue. <br><br>Home Office Inspectors assigned to establishments holding and using imported primates play a key role in monitoring the situation. Through inspection visits and other contact with animal care staff, inspectors maintain awareness of the importations of primates, both consignments already acquired and those due. This enables appropriately timed inspections to be carried out to monitor the quality of animals being acquired. <br><br>We also expect the local inspector to be notified promptly in the event of any significant health or welfare problems which may occur following arrival of an importation of primates. Drugs can also be prescribed ‘off-label’ outside of their licensed indication(s) to individual patients where doctors consider it is clinically appropriate to do so. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/11/2014 answer text <p>We have introduced a £1 billion business rate support package for 2014-15 including:</p><p>– a 2% cap in the Retail Price Index increase in the small business rates multiplier;</p><p>– a retail discount of £1,000 for around 300,000 shops, pubs and restaurants with rateable values below £50,000;</p><p>– a 12 month extension of small business rate relief doubling, benefitting over half a million businesses;</p><p>– a 50 per cent discount for new occupants of long-term vacant shops, and;</p><p>– allowing ratepayers to pay bills over 12 instalments.</p><p> </p><p>The Department does not collect data on a constituency basis, but the Crawley constituency lies entirely within the Crawley Borough Council boundary. Table 1 (attached) shows, where available, the estimated number of properties that will benefit from each of the reliefs introduced or extended in 2014-15 within Crawley Borough Council, as well as the amount of relief awarded. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/10/2014 answer text <p>We continue to urge the Sri Lankan government to co-operate fully with the UN Human Rights Council resolution of March 2014, which calls for an international investigation into alleged violations of international law on both sides of Sri Lanka’s recent conflict. Our High Commissioner to Sri Lanka has raised this point directly with members of the Sri Lankan government and in public statements. The risk assessment is specific to each establishment taking account of the factors as published in the 2012 Animals in Science Regulation annual report.
