star this property answer text <p>Information on capital funding allocations for the creation of new school places, including for financial years 2013-14 and 2014-15, is published online at:</p><p> </p><p><a href="http://www.gov.uk/government/publications/basic-need-allocations-2015-to-2018" target="_blank">www.gov.uk/government/publications/basic-need-allocations-2015-to-2018</a></p><p> </p><p>West Sussex was allocated over £54 million for new school places between 2013 and 2015 (£25.5 million of basic need funding and a further £28.7 million of targeted basic need funding). This funding was allocated to West Sussex as the local authority with statutory responsibility for the provision of sufficient school places in the area.</p><p> </p> more like this
