	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/10/2015 answer text <p>The Home Office publishes an analysis of applications for whole-year cohorts of asylum seekers to establish the overall success rates following appeal; this is available in Table as_06 (Asylum data table Volume 2) of the quarterly Immigration Statistics release. For the latest years, some cases will still be outstanding. This cohort analysis is therefore not able to provide a complete picture for the latest applications but for most years will provide the most complete description of the outcome for asylum seekers. The analysis of the outcomes of asylum applications are the recorded outcomes of the group (or cohort) of applicants in any one year, at a particular time. The scheme is based on need, rather than designed to meet set arrival projections. However, we will continue to bring groups here on a regular basis. We have said we expect the scheme to help several hundred people over three years, and we remain on track to achieve that. In addition, over 4,200 Syrians have been granted asylum or other forms of leave in the UK under our normal asylum rules since the Syrian crisis began in 2011.</p><p>We continue to work closely with the UNHCR to identify the most vulnerable people displaced by the conflict, prioritising women and children at risk, people in severe need of medical care and survivors of torture and violence. The VPR scheme runs in parallel with the UNHCR’s own Syrian humanitarian admission programme. This is because the Government believes the UK can add most value through a complementary scheme, focusing on helping the most vulnerable refugees who cannot be supported effectively in the region rather than a quota. With millions of people in need, we strongly believe that the UK can have the greatest impact by continuing to prioritise significant aid; we have donated £800 million, making the UK the second largest bi-lateral donor after the USA and helping to provide vital support to hundreds of thousands of people across the region. The Syrian conflict is a crisis of international proportions and we continue to play our full part in discussions with international partners.</p><p>The UNHCR is best placed to provide information on the number of Syrians resettled by other states to date. Safeguards are built in to our legislation. The police and the Crown Prosecution Service are required to ensure that prosecutions are only pursued in appropriate cases, where there is sufficient evidence and it is in the public interest to do so. <br><br>David Anderson QC, the Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation, has made four specific recommendations in respect of the definition in his most recent Annual Report on the Operation of the Terrorism Acts in 2013, which was laid in Parliament on 22nd July. However, we strongly believe that we should continue to focus on aid rather than resettlement as the best way for the UK to maximise our impact. <br><br>To complement our humanitarian aid, we operate the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Relocation scheme to relocate the most vulnerable displaced Syrians who cannot be supported effectively long term in the region to the UK. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/01/2015 answer text <p>The threat of a terrorist attack in the UK from groups motivated by Far Right extremist ideologies is currently assessed as being LOW (i.e. that an attack is unlikely). The threat from Lone Actors motivated by any ideology is harder to <br>assess.<br><br>The threat posed by Far Right extremists is assessed by the Police and Security Service as part of the same process as that from all other forms of extremism (including Islamism) and is managed according to the threat that it is deemed <br>to pose.<br><br>The National Domestic Extremism and Disorder Intelligence Unit (NDEDIU), managed by the Metropolitan Police on behalf of all forces, lead on the development of the national intelligence picture on all forms of domestic <br>extremism including the Far Right and works closely with the national Police Counter-Terrorism Network.<br><br>The Government’s Prevent strategy to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism, addresses all form of extremism, including far right extremism. The Channel programme, a key part of the Prevent strategy, provides <br>support to those identified at risk of being drawn into terrorism. Since national rollout in April 2012, there have been over 2000 referrals to Channel; hundreds of individuals have been offered support.
