	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/09/2021 answer text <p>The Government holds the professionalism, courage and contribution of all those who have served in our Armed Forces in the very highest regard.</p><p>Sir John Holmes' independent review of the policy governing the award of military medals, which concluded in 2014, was subject to detailed discussion by the Committee on the Grant of Honours, Decorations and Medals. Accordingly, a history of a number of medical conditions are a bar to Service.</p><p>Sleepwalking poses a risk of injury to personnel within the operational environment (such as a hostile land environment or the confines of a ship at sea), as the individual has no awareness of their situation or actions.
