<p>(a) Details of the number of complaints relating to the equalisation of state pension
age, that are currently (as at 20<sup>th</sup> February 2018) being considered by
the Independent Case Examiner’s Office are detailed below:</p><p> </p><ul><li>369
complaints undergoing checks to establish if they can be accepted for examination</li><li>1,800
complaints awaiting investigation</li><li>36 complaints being investigated</li></ul><p>
</p><p>(b) Since 2 October 2017, the Independent Case Examiner’s Office has issued
44 investigation reports into complaints about the equalisation of state pension age.</p><p><em></em></p>
