answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/10/2021 answer text <p>The new statutory guidance for relationships, sex and health education (RSHE), which came into force in September 2020, emphasises that schools should be alive to issues such as everyday sexism, misogyny, homophobia and gender stereotypes, and take positive action to build a culture where these are not tolerated, and any occurrences are identified and tackled. The guidance states that schools should make clear that sexual violence and sexual harassment are not acceptable, will never be tolerated and are not an inevitable part of growing up.</p><p>Following Ofsted’s review of sexual abuse in schools and colleges, the department has committed to developing additional support to help teachers deliver statutory RSHE effectively and confidently. The government’s October 2021 ‘Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy’ emphasises the importance of educational interventions to change harmful attitudes. To ensure consistency of approach, the department will develop non-statutory guidance, monitor and evaluate teacher confidence to deliver these difficult topics, and continue to build a programme of support that meets teachers’ needs.</p><p>The department has also recently published revised statutory guidance, ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, which has been strengthened to better support schools and colleges to prevent abuse, identify abuse, and respond appropriately where abuse is reported. However, we recognise that some individuals may not have access or might forget their face covering. At the same time, we are keen to use the opportunities that departure presents to set our own priorities. The Chancellor has announced that the Treasury will guarantee structural fund bids which are signed before the UK leaves the EU. This includes funding for projects agreed after the Autumn Statement, if they represent good value for money, and if they are in line with the government’s strategic priorities, even if these projects continue beyond the UK’s departure from the EU.</p><p>Leaving the EU means we will want to take our own decisions about how to deliver the policy objectives previously targeted by EU funding. Where social distancing is not possible, airlines are advised to carry out a risk assessment and implement appropriate risk controls. For example, wearing a face covering can play a role in helping us to protect other passengers, which is why it is mandatory to wear one on board aircraft.</p><p>Additionally, operators are encouraged to introduce clear signage and one-way passenger flows where appropriate. Arrangements may vary depending on the port or airport and the guidance is available to support port operators. This will enable NHS England to provide the support and oversight required to return the CCG to a sustainable financial position.</p><p> </p><p>The CCG has already begun producing a financial recovery plan for submission to NHS England. Within this plan, the CCG will demonstrate how they are meeting Five Year Forward requirements in all areas, including mental health. The draft plan for 2019/20 will set out how the CCG will meet mental health access standards, and the mental health investment standard. In response to the review of urgent treatment services in the National Health Service (published in 2015), patients and the public said that they felt confused by the mix of walk-in centres, minor injuries units and urgent care centres, in addition to numerous general practitioner health centres and surgeries offering varied levels of core and extended service.</p><p> </p><p>The ‘Next Steps on the NHS Five Year Forward View’ set out plans for the roll-out of urgent treatment centres. Local clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), alongside NHS England commissioners, with their clinical expertise, are responsible for commissioning high quality care for their populations. We are clear that patients should be able to access the best possible treatments based on quality of care, and not type of provider.</p><p>Under the NHS Choice Framework, published by the Department, those choosing where to go for their first appointment as an outpatient have a legal right to choose any provider which provides clinically appropriate care for their condition, and has been appointed by the NHS to provide that service, meaning it has been commissioned by a CCG or NHS England to provide this NHS service. Underpinning these themes is the need for strong health systems, to deliver services to those who need it.</p><p> </p><p>Our product development research portfolio includes the International Partnership for Microbicides (IPM). IPM is developing the first long-acting HIV prevention (containing an antiretroviral drug) designed for women, a self-initiated female prevention product.</p><p> </p><p>Research into the root causes of HIV and how best to tackle them are being addressed through the Tackling the Structural Drivers of HIV (STRIVE) and the recently completed Evidence for HIV Prevention in Southern Africa (EHPSA) projects.</p><p> </p><p>The results of this research have the potential to increase adherence to treatment and reduce drug resistance. It will help some of the most poor and vulnerable people, and will be of benefit to people in all countries affected by HIV/AIDS including the UK.</p><p> </p><p>DFID is also supporting the scale-up of long-acting technologies through our funding to Unitaid. Unitaid is a global health initiative which aims to improve access to medicines, diagnostics and preventative commodities for people affected by HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria in lower income countries. It has a general objective to promote the safety and soundness of the firms it regulates and a secondary objective to facilitate effective competition.</p><br /><p>The PRA is an independent non-governmental body and, although the Treasury sets the legal framework for all regulation, it has strictly limited powers in relation to the regulators. However, last year the Government asked the PRA to use the evidence gathered from the Government’s Call for Evidence on Credit Unions to inform their 2015 review of the Credit Union Sourcebook (CREDS).</p><br /><p>The PRA have confirmed that they have taken into account the feedback received by HM Treasury in response to the Call for Evidence when formulating suggested reforms to CREDS.</p><br /><p>The PRA’s reforms seek to establish a more risk-based and flexible framework for credit union regulation, which imposes higher expectations for more sophisticated activity. The PRA recognises the unique structure and important role credit unions play in their local communities and is proposing to reform the rules to better reflect their evolving but distinctive business model.</p><br /><p>The PRA are looking to adjust the regulation so that rules around investments, capital levels and reporting requirements will be determined by looking at the risk profile and business model of the credit union. As such, every credit reference agency’s fitness to trade is being assessed as part of the FCA’s robust authorisation process</p><p> </p><p>Information on a credit report should be purely factual; for example, if arrears were incurred, those lenders who share data through the credit reference agencies will have recorded them.</p><p> </p><p>A credit reference agency is able to correct factually inaccurate information. However, it is the original lender or organisation that supplies credit to a consumer that provides the agencies with the information held on a credit report. Where inaccurate information has been reported to a credit reference agency, a consumer must contact the lender in the first instance.</p><p> </p><p>If a problem with inaccurate data is not resolved satisfactorily with a lender, consumers are able to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), which is able to investigate and take action where necessary.
