Construction works will commence in spring this year and will be completed in autumn. The airfield will be closed during this period to fixed wing aircraft, though rotary operations will continue.</p><p>During the project's design process, full account is being taken of the Military Aviation Authority's regulations. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/12/2017 answer text <p>Credit Union (CU) facilities for members of the Armed Forces have been in place since 15 November 2015 and for veterans in receipt of an Armed Forces pension since March 2016.</p><p> </p><p>Following the introduction of the provision, the three Credit Unions, PlaneSaver CU, Police CU (trading as Serve &amp; Protect) and London Mutual CU, met their first year target of 1,000 new members. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/04/2019 answer text <p>Housing for veterans is the responsibility of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), and the number of former military personnel who have experienced difficulties in finding accommodation after discharge is not known.</p><p>The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is developing a new tri-Service policy to provide more comprehensive support to Service personnel and their families as they transition out of the Armed Forces, and this will include advice and support on housing matters.</p><p>As set out in the Annual Population Survey: UK Armed Forces Veterans Residing in Great Britain 2017 report, published on 31 January 2019, MHCLG has introduced a package of measures to ensure the Armed Forces community have the same access to social housing and are not disadvantaged by the requirement for mobility whilst in Service.
