star this property answer text <p>The 10,000 places allocated to the Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Impact Trial undertaken across England were determined on the basis of the numbers likely to address the study objectives. The figure was revised upwards to 13,000 in 2018. Any further increase in trial numbers would need to be considered against the likelihood that the trial objectives would not be met or revised objectives are felt to be necessary.</p><p> </p><p><ins class="ministerial">Of the current 152 sites that expressed an interest in taking part,</ins><del class="ministerial">All planned</del> 140 trial sites have now opened. star this property answer text <p>Network Rail, Transport for London, the Department for Transport and Transport for the North carry out a range of different legislative and operational functions. The expenditure on advertising will reflect those functions.</p><p> </p><p>Network Rail and Transport for London have direct operational responsibility for transport networks and need to inform and advise users of those networks. The Department for Transport has national strategic, regulatory, operational and enforcement responsibilities. star this property answer text <p>The protection of children remains a priority for this Government and we keep this important area of the law under review.</p><p> </p><p>The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is currently developing proposals to extend the definition of a ‘position of trust’ in the Sexual Offences Act 2003, to bring into that definition sports coaches who hold a position of trust in relation to a child aged 16 or 17 under their care. We will consider these further with them once developed.</p><p> </p><p>Although I have not yet had any discussions with the Home Secretary on this matter directly, given my recent appointment.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The provision made for those citizens affected by contaminated blood in Northern Ireland is a devolved matter. In the absence of an Executive, spending and policy decisions fall to the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS), though clearly there are a range of strategic decisions which require political decision-makers to be in place to take. That is why it is imperative we see a restored Executive in place, so that local politicians can take forward an agenda that delivers for the whole community in Northern Ireland.</p><p> </p><p>As to the legislative framework, the Budget Act 2017 does no more than provide broad spending limits and ambits for NI departments, rather than detailing spending on specific programmes or initiatives. As above, those detailed decisions remain for the NICS. I have therefore asked if the NICS would respond to you directly on the 2017-18 position in this regard.</p> more like this

However the Government remains engaged with BAE Systems to understand the impact of the potential job reductions, and to ensure that vital skills are maintained.</p><p>This Government recognises the strength and capability of the UK's aerospace sector. We have a substantial programme of work underway through the Defence Growth Partnership, which is identifying opportunities to encourage growth and competitiveness of the UK defence sector. Taken alongside the Future Combat Air Systems Technology Initiative, this will maintain and enhance the UK's position as a global leader in combat air technologies.</p> more like this
