	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/11/2016 answer text <p>The government is committed to introducing national funding formulae for early years, schools and high needs, so that funding is better matched to need.</p><p>We will introduce a national funding formula for early years from financial year 2017-18. A consultation on the early years formula closed on 22 September, and we will set out our response later in the autumn.</p><p>We will introduce national funding formulae for schools and high needs from financial year 2018-19. We are considering the options carefully, taking into account the need to give schools and local authorities stability. We will put forward our detailed proposals later in the autumn, including our proposals for the transition to the formulae. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/06/2017 answer text <p>The Children and Social Work Act (2017) places a duty on the Secretary of State to make relationships education mandatory in all primary schools, and relationships and sex education mandatory in all secondary schools, in England.</p><p> </p><p>The Government also made a commitment to ensuring that the updated guidance and regulations for these subjects would be age appropriate and support the knowledge children and young people need to stay safe and to develop positive relationships.</p><p> </p><p>The Department intends to conduct a thorough and wide ranging engagement process on relationships education and relationships and sex education. This will determine the content of the regulations and statutory guidance, covering subject content, school practice and quality of delivery. We will ensure the subjects are carefully designed to safeguard and support pupils whilst being deliverable for schools.</p><p>Relationships education and relationships and sex education will be age appropriate, building knowledge over time in a way that prepares pupils for issues they will soon face.</p><p> </p><p>We will set out shortly more details about the engagement process and the work to consider age appropriate subject content. This will result in draft regulations and guidance on which we will consult. This could include a young person starting out in their first job, an existing employee up-skilling, or a more experienced worker re-training or re-entering the workforce.</p><p>We are implementing apprenticeship reforms to continue to improve the quality of apprenticeships for all, providing the skills that employers need to reach our commitment of 3 million starts in England by 2020.</p><p>We regularly communicate the benefits of apprenticeships and prospective apprentices can use Find an Apprenticeship to search and apply for apprenticeship vacancies in England. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/03/2017 answer text <p>The Apprenticeships Levy comes into effect from April 2017, as part of a wider suite of reforms to improve the quality and sustainability of the apprenticeship system in England.</p><p> </p><p>Future availability and location of apprenticeships is dependent on employers recruiting apprentices and offering opportunities. We want to encourage more employers to offer more apprenticeships and our reforms provide them with the opportunity to do so.
