A consultation on the early years formula closed on 22 September, and we will set out our response later in the autumn.</p><p>We will introduce national funding formulae for schools and high needs from financial year 2018-19. We are considering the options carefully, taking into account the need to give schools and local authorities stability. We will put forward our detailed proposals later in the autumn, including our proposals for the transition to the formulae. For all schools funded on estimates the Education Funding Agency (EFA) carries out an annual pupil number adjustment to bring allocations back into line with the actual numbers reported through the schools census. Some free schools will receive either increases or reductions as a result of those pupil number adjustments. The Department works closely with schools each year to review estimates and to help minimise the likelihood of significant adjustments.</p><p>For the current academic year, 2016 to 2017, the EFA is in the process of calculating pupil number adjustments based on the October 2016 schools census. All schools will be notified of any increases or reductions to their allocations by Spring 2017. The EFA plans to make recoveries in respect of any and all negative adjustments, which will mostly take place over the course of the following academic year, 2017 to 2018. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/12/2016 answer text <p>In the three months leading to August 2016, employment in the Northern Powerhouse was 7.1 million, with 429,000 more people in work than in 2010, and 187,000 jobs created in the past year alone.</p><p> </p><p>The provision of careers education, advice and guidance is crucial in supporting young people to make the right choices about their futures. Funding awards were made in February 2016 and will benefit 250,000 young people. Further details of successful awards can be found at: <a href="http://www.careersandenterprise.co.uk/map#fund" target="_blank">www.careersandenterprise.co.uk/map#fund</a>.</p><p> </p><p>The Company’s Enterprise Adviser Network is now live in over 1,100 secondary schools and colleges across the country. The model for the service changed in October 2014 replacing paid sessional activity with a payment by results system to incentivise better customer outcomes.</p><p> </p><p>The periods 2012-13, 2013- 14 and Apr- Sept 2014 represent the number of paid sessions accessed by customers under the old model.</p><p> </p><p>For Oct 2014-Mar 2015 and 2015-2016 we report the number of adviser sessions that delivered a customer satisfaction outcome under the new model. In the new model the majority of customers will have had more than one session of advice or guidance to achieve an outcome.
