	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/07/2015 answer text <p /> <p>Entitlement to Attendance Allowance is not based on the diagnosis of a specific health condition, but is awarded to people based on the care, or supervision, needs arising from their severe disability. Special rules arrangements apply to Attendance Allowance claimants who are not expected to live longer than another six months, and mean that payment is made immediately rather the claimant having to satisfy the usual six month qualifying period. There is no specification of which health conditions should be processed under the special rules arrangements, and those suffering from significant brain injuries and not expected to live longer than another six months would be included under them. This will drive real action which will make the biggest difference to the most disadvantaged children – now and in the future. This approach will ensure that Government action is focused on tackling the root causes of child poverty - worklessness, educational failure, family breakdown, problem debt and addiction.</p><p>This Government believes that work is the best route out of poverty and is therefore focused on getting people into employment. With more than two million more people in work than in 2010, and with the number of workless households at a record low, the progress made by this Government has been significant including in Barnsley Central constituency. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/03/2016 answer text <p>The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has responsibility for the regulation of workplace health and safety in the UK, and it is the legal duty of those who create risks through work activities to understand those risks and ensure they are adequately controlled. This includes ensuring that duty holders/employers identify and obtain relevant information on the hazardous properties of the substances or materials they use or manufacture.</p><p>The Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals Regulation (REACH) requires those who place chemicals such as formaldehyde on the market to provide information on the hazards associated with the chemical both up and down the supply chain. This includes the provision of Safety Data Sheets which must accompany chemicals through the supply chain, providing the information users need to ensure that chemicals are safely used and managed.</p><p>The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH) also applies in the workplace when hazardous substances, such as formaldehyde, are manufactured, used, or where processes are undertaken that generate hazardous substances. Parliament gave the Pensions Regulator operational independence, which means that Ministers are not involved in decisions to exercise its powers or able to intervene in its casework. It would therefore not be appropriate for Ministers to comment on any individual pension scheme. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/05/2014 answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p>The Government are aware of the problems facing young jobseekers in the labour market and have put in place a substantial menu of provision to help them move into work.</p><p>The Youth Contract provides intensive support for all 18-24 year olds. Extra funding is being made available to support the most vulnerable 16 and 17 year olds not in education, employment or training into learning, an apprenticeship or job with training.</p><p> </p><p>This comprehensive package of support is enhanced by the Flexible Support Fund, which Jobcentre Plus District managers can use to address locally identified skills needs.
