	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>Local Youth Offending Teams (YOTs) are multi-agency partnerships (which include health services) and they determine which services are needed to address the needs of the children who offend in their area. As of June 2017, there were 127 full time equivalent posts for seconded mental health practitioners working in YOTs in England and Wales. This included 59.7 part time and 68 full time posts.</p><p> </p><p>Additionally, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in England, are expected to work with NHS England and local partners across the NHS, public health, children and adult social care, youth justice and the education sectors, to jointly develop and take forward local plans to improve children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing, including children going through the youth justice system. In Wales, Local Health Boards (LHBs) are responsible for planning and delivering medical services, and aim to integrate specialist, secondary, community and primary care and health improvements. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/10/2019 answer text <p>The Office of the Secretary of State for Wales (OSSW) takes the wellbeing of our staff very seriously and is committed to providing a high level of support. The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) employ staff on behalf of OSSW and therefore the Office adopts and applies MOJ wellbeing policies to our staff.</p><p> </p><p>MOJ published a report on staff mental health and wellbeing in August 2019:</p><p><a href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/827763/moj-voluntary-reporting.pdf" target="_blank">https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/827763/moj-voluntary-reporting.pdf</a>.</p><p> </p><p>The report covers the four positive wellbeing measures used by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) for the UK population: life satisfaction, sense of purpose, happiness and anxiety.</p><p> </p><p>The Office uses a wide range of MoJ policies that support wellbeing, including a carers charter and passport. During the past 12 months, MoJ has introduced guidance on supporting victims of domestic abuse (November 2018) and a policy to support EU nationals (August 2019). In August, MoJ introduced the Gender Identity and Intersex Policy and Guidance for staff who identify as transgender, non-binary and intersex. This sets out standards of behaviours and useful resources to ensure everyone is treated fairly at work.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>OSSW staff can access a range of MoJ wellbeing services which include: access to internal mental health first aiders, the 24/7 hour employee assistance helpline, occupational health referral and counselling sessions (if deemed appropriate) and membership of relevant employee support networks.</p><p> </p><p>In addition to MoJ policies, the Office engages with other Government Departments in the UK Governance Group to raise staff awareness of wellbeing techniques. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/10/2019 answer text <p>Veterinary medicines have been recognised by the Government as critical to human and animal welfare and national security.</p><p> </p><p>The majority of veterinary medicines used in the UK (and ingredients and components to make them) are either produced in or enter via the EU. The Government is working with animal health companies who have been carrying out extensive EU Exit contingency planning for all EU Exit scenarios, including no deal, covering all aspects of their supply chains, from regulatory compliance and stocking levels to logistics and customs. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>Mindfulness-based cognitive techniques have a range of forms and applications, including educational (in developing effective thinking processes) and medical (in treating some mental health conditions). Specifically, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is recognised by the UK National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) as effective for the treatment of mental health disorders such as recurrent depression, which can be a problem for returning soldiers and veterans.</p><p>Within the UK Armed Forces, mindfulness techniques are increasingly employed in the therapy space and within formal courses as part of an individual's overall treatment plan, in accordance with NICE guidelines. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/09/2019 answer text <p>For personnel returning from conflict, the Ministry of Defence (MOD) continues to fund the large scale, ongoing independent study from the King's Centre for Military Health Research (KCMHR), King's College London, which has become an important source of data on the impact of deployment on the overall health and wellbeing of military personnel and veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
