star this property answer text <p>Within each priority group recommended by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation for COVID-19 vaccine prioritisation, NHS England and NHS Improvement take operational decisions on how to ensure the vaccination process runs smoothly and efficiently. With the cohort of those aged 55 to 59 years old, were opened first to the older age group within that cohort. As a result of this staggered approach, 56 year olds were provided access before 55 year olds.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We remain committed to growing the mental health workforce to achieve the ambitions set out in the NHS Long Term Plan.</p><p>NHS Digital publishes Hospital and Community Health Services (HCHS) workforce statistics. These include staff working in hospital trusts and clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), but not staff working in primary care, local authorities or other providers.</p><p>There is no data available which identifies staff who provide one-to-one support. star this property answer text <p>We recognise how important it is to allow care homes residents to meet their loved ones safely, especially for those at the end of their lives. We appreciate the particular challenges visiting restrictions pose for people with dementia, people with learning disabilities and autistic adults, amongst others, as well as for their loved ones.</p><p>Guidance documents are informed by expert advice before publication to ensure that they are based on the latest evidence. As the COVID-19 vaccine deployment continues, we will review and update the care homes visiting guidance in line with the latest evidence.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We have regular discussions with the Department for Education on a range of issues. The Office of Health Improvement and Disparities, NHS England and local commissioners continue to raise awareness and education on the dangers of drinking alcohol while pregnant.</p><p>No specific assessment has been made on the prevalence of foetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) among care experienced people. However, we have asked National Institute for Health and Care Excellence to produce a Quality Standard in England for FASD to improve the diagnosis and care of those affected.</p><p>In 2020/21, the Government funded five voluntary organisations to support grassroots initiatives to prevent cases of FASD, raise awareness among professionals and help improve support for those living with its consequences. The Adoption Support Fund (ASF) provides families whose children have left care through adoption or special guardianship with access to funding for a specialist assessment and therapeutic support.  An ASF specialist assessment may assess FASD as part of a wider assessment of a child’s needs. The ASF does not fund standalone FASD assessments.</p>
