star this property answer text <p>The Prime Minister’s Office and the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office are an integral part of the Cabinet Office. The number of recruitment and employment agencies used to source staff for Cabinet Office and the number of staff employed by Cabinet Office through recruitment and employment agencies is not held centrally.</p><p>As part of our long-term economic plan, this Government has cut the amount spent on central Government consultancy and contingent labour from £2.45 billion in 2009/10 to £1.06 billion in 2013/14 – a reduction of 57% compared to the last year of the previous Government.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Government does not hold this information centrally. When undisputed public sector invoices are not paid within 30 days, interest becomes liable under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.</p><p>In March 2015 central government restated its longstanding commitment to pay 80% of undisputed and valid invoices in 5 days with the remainder paid in 30 days. To increase transparency through publication, departments are required to publish performance against these targets on a quarterly basis on <a href="http://gov.uk/" target="_blank">GOV.UK</a>.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>On 11<sup>th</sup> October 2017 we published the latest small and medium-sized enterprises’ spending performance figures:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/central-government-spend-with-smes-2015-to-2016" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/central-government-spend-with-smes-2015-to-2016</a></p><p> </p><p>These show that government spent £12.2 bn in 2015-16 with small and medium sized enterprises, more than we have ever before recorded.</p><p> </p><p>We do not currently monitor the breakdown of spend with SMEs by commercial sector.</p> more like this
