The UK was a founding member of the UN Human Rights Council and has served as a member of the Council for the majority of its 12-year lifespan.</p><p> </p><p>UK has long supported the promotion of these values globally and this will continue as we leave the EU. We are committed to upholding the UK’s high standards.
