star this property answer text <p>The Rural Payments Agency has paid all CS 2017 eligible claims bar those held for legal reasons such as probate. On CS 2018, 95% of eligible claimants received an advance payment by early April; 30% of eligible claims have received their final payment and we expect to pay 95% of eligible claims by August 2019.</p><p> </p><p>On ES, around 92% of 2017 eligible claims have now received a payment and we are on track to complete 95% by the end of July 2019. Just over 52% of 2018 eligible claimants have received their advance payment and just under 21% have received their final payment.</p><p> </p><p>Regrettably, we cannot confirm how many of these are tenant farmers as we do not record the agreement holders’ occupant status.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>A farm business may hold more than one agreement and make multiple claims. As of 17 March 2019:</p><p>1) All eligible Countryside Stewardship 2016 and 2017 claims have received a payment apart from exceptional cases such as those that cannot be paid for legal reasons such as probate.</p><p>There are just over 6,100 2018 claims still due an advance payment. Any claim that has not been paid a 2018 advance payment by the end of March will be issued a bridging payment in early April.</p><p>RPA are on track to complete 95% of 2018 final payments on claims by the end of July.</p><p>2) The information held on Environmental Stewardship claims does not currently separate between Entry and Higher Level agreements.</p><p>All eligible 2016 claims have received a system advance and/or final, or a bridging payment. All eligible 2017 claims received an advance or bridging payment.</p><p>RPA is on track to complete 95% of 2017 final payments by end of July. There are just over 9,500 2018 claims due their advance payment.</p>

star this property answer text <p>The Rural Payments Agency received over 86,000 applications for the Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) 2017. The window for making payments runs from December to June each scheme year. Land farmed under a tenancy, lease or shared basis can be included in a claim. The figures given are based on size of claim, which may include land not owned by the claimant.</p>

star this property answer text <p>As at 9 November, in addition to claims which the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) cannot pay due to legal reasons such as probate, there are 5 BPS claims to complete for England. This figure is an increase of 3 compared to the number previously reported as the agency completes routine final checks on nil value claims. The Agency continues to review new queries.</p><p> </p><p>4 claimants have declared less than 250 acres, 1 declared between 250 and 750 acres and 0 declared more than 750 acres.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Rural Payments Agency started making Basic Payment Scheme payments to farmers from December 2015. At the end of January 2016 we had paid 66,800 some £1 billion, leaving just under 20,300 not paid. We had paid 600 farmers affected by the floods by the end of January and are prioritising the remainder for payment as promptly as possible.</p><p>Farmers affected by flooding from Storm Desmond and Eva can apply for up to £20,000 grant funding from the Farming Recovery Fund (until 1 April) to help restore damaged agricultural land. Farmers wanting to apply for the grant can find the application form and guidance on GOV.UK or call the Rural Services Helpline on 03000 200 301.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this
