	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/05/2019 answer text <p>The Department and the National Health Service recognise the huge potential for innovative technologies to transform the delivery of better and more efficient health services, and to improve patient experience and outcomes. This commitment to using innovative technologies to improve the NHS is a key theme in the NHS Long Term Plan and the second Life Sciences Sector Deal. It is also a driving force behind the new NHSX.</p><p>To support better use of innovative technologies in the NHS, we are delivering approximately £100 million of funding, including:</p><p>- £15 million for the NHS test beds programme, which supports industry and NHS collaborations to test their innovations in real-world clinical settings;</p><p>- £39 million to improve local adoption and uptake of innovative medical technologies through the 15 Academic Health Science Networks; and</p><p>- £35 million to encourage and support innovators to develop more world-leading digital solutions, including a surgery simulation training platform, utilising innovative haptic feedback and advanced Virtual Reality (VR) modelling through Fundamental VR.</p><p>Underpinning these initiatives will be the improvement of the wider innovation ecosystem for all technologies, including those using augmented reality platforms. The Department for Health and Social Care is working with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to explore actions to address this and a range of other online harms, including working with platforms. Collaboration with the Department for Education is underway to ensure pupils understand that vaccines protect against diseases which can cause serious long-term ill-health, including mental and/or physical disability, and death.</p><p> </p><p>Public Health England annual surveys show parents have high levels of confidence in the national childhood immunisation programme and trust the advice about vaccination that comes from the National Health Service and health care workers. In contrast, trust in social media is much lower. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/03/2019 answer text <p>There are comprehensive controls in place throughout the food chain to reduce the levels of contamination in chicken being sold in supermarkets and other locations. These controls include, for example, the national salmonella control programme for broiler chickens at all stages of production, which defines a range of measures to reduce the risk of Salmonella. The Food Standards Agency has also worked closely with industry on reducing Campylobacter contamination over a number of years. This has seen the highest contamination levels of Campylobacter fall from an average of 19% in 2014/15 to 5% in 2016/17 in surveys undertaken at retail level. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/09/2018 answer text <p>The Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001 sets out the circumstances in which individuals, including home care assistants may administer drugs.</p><p>Managers of residential and domiciliary care providers have a responsibility to ensure the proper and safe use of medicines, and that staff responsible for the management and administration of medication are suitably trained and competent. Furthermore, the Care Quality Commission expects all adult social care providers to induct staff in line with the standards set out in the Care Certificate.
