However, there is an urgent need to make progress on dealing with divisive issues such as flags, parading and the past. We will always give our fullest possible backing to the brave men and women of the Northern Ireland Prison Service and the PSNI who do such an outstanding job.</p><p> </p><p>The Strategic Defence and Security Review published in November 2015 includes a commitment from the UK Government to maintain our investment in capabilities to keep the people of Northern Ireland safe. This means an attack is highly likely.</p><p>The so-called new IRA is one of a small number of dissident republican groupings that aspire to undermine Northern Ireland’s democratic institutions through the use of violence. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and MI5 work tirelessly to limit the threat that these groupings pose.</p><p>This Government will always give its fullest possible backing to the PSNI and other agencies who do such an effective job in keeping people in Northern Ireland safe and secure. Under this Government there will be no let-up in our efforts to ensure that terrorism does not succeed.</p><p>I report regularly to the House on the threat from Northern Ireland Related Terrorism. There is a reduction of 25% in the council tax payable available to those who live alone, but the administration of this is a matter for local authorities. </p><p> </p><p>Generally, suspicions that claimants may be living together as if they were married or in a civil partnership without informing the relevant benefit payer come from various sources, including members of the public and members of staff. This means spending £24 billion on strategic roads over this and the next Parliament, and accelerating the pace of delivery so that people affected see a difference more quickly.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>This includes a £500 million programme of pinch point schemes specifically targeted at tackling congestion on both the strategic and local road network, and a further £800 million being invested in 25 local major road schemes.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>We have previously announced £183.5m for road repairs following the severe weather this winter and in the recent Budget, the Chancellor announced a further £200 millionfunding for pothole repairs. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/09/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) may release vehicle keeper details to parking enforcement companies if they can demonstrate reasonable cause to receive it. To help ensure motorists are treated fairly when any parking charge is pursued, vehicle keeper information is disclosed only to companies that are members of an Accredited Trade Association (ATA). 　The ATA carries out stringent checks on companies before allowing them to join and monitors compliance of their code of practice that includes an independent appeals process.　 If a company fails to comply it can be suspended or expelled, during which time no data will be provided to it by the DVLA.</p><p> </p><p>Beyond that, parking on private land is essentially a private contractual arrangement between the car park owner and the motorist. Any ongoing disputes over unpaid parking charges would be pursued as civil matters through the relevant courts. The Government would not be involved.</p><p> </p><p>However, the Government has amended the Consumer Protection Regulations to make it simpler and clearer for consumers to bring their own actions to seek compensation when they have been the victims of misleading or aggressive debt collection practices. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/09/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>According to Transport for London (TfL), there have been 59 instances since January 2013 on the London Underground where the records specify heat as the reason for, or a contributing factor towards, customer illness. The actual number may be different as, for various reasons, it is not always possible to provide an accurate picture of why passengers are taken ill. Transport for London do not have any records of passengers being taken ill since January 2013 as a result of excessive heat on trams, London Overground or the Docklands Light Railway. In respect of buses, Transport for London are unable to provide the information requested.
