<p> </p><p>The specifications for both the Northern and TransPennine Express franchises
have not yet been decided. A public consultation exercise is being conducted, which

process has finished.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The consultation document states
that there are no plans for station closures in the new franchises. At this stage
we have not had any formal discussion with Network Rail on the subject.</p><p> </p><p>
