star this property answer text <p>The Treasury has agreed that payments made under the Windrush Compensation Scheme and the Windrush Urgent and Exceptional Payments Scheme will be disregarded on an extra-statutory basis in the calculation of Universal Credit and other DWP means-tested benefits.</p><p>Similarly, payments under, or in connection with, the Windrush Compensation scheme will be disregarded in full for 52 weeks from the date the payment is made when calculating for tax credit awards.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Windrush Compensation Scheme rules are available on the government website at <a href="http://www.gov.uk/windrush-compensation." target="_blank">www.gov.uk/windrush-compensation</a></p><p>Annex B of the rules sets out the immigration application fees for which reimbursement may be claimed under the scheme, where an application has been unsuccessful where the applicant was not able to provide sufficient evidence of their lawful status.</p><p>Since it was first published on 3 April, annex B of the rules has been amended to clarify that this category includes an application for British citizenship and an application for a certificate of entitlement to a right of abode.</p><p>Where an individual has made more than one relevant unsuccessful application and they meet the criteria for an award, reimbursement of fees for each application will be considered.</p> more like this
