<p>The Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960 (the 1960 Act) sets out the
local authority site licensing regime for caravan sites in England, Wales and Scotland.
Caravan site licensing under the 1960 Act is a devolved matter.</p><p>We made significant
changes to the 1960 Act, in relation to England only, through the Mobile Homes Act
2013. We carried out a review of park homes legislation (England only) in 2017 and
published the Government’s response on 22 October 2018.</p><p>The Government response
