	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>The NHS Business Services Authority can provide ‘on demand’ Pension Savings Statements (PSS) to members on request. This is not triggered by a member breaching the annual allowance, but instead by the member requesting a statement. ‘On demand’ statements should be provided by the NHS Business Services Authority by the later of three months from the date of request by the individual or by 6 October following the end of the relevant tax year. However, this is dependent on the NHS Business Services Authority receiving the relevant data from the Employing Authority such as pensionable pay.</p><p>The NHS Business Services Authority cannot exclusively identify healthcare professionals but confirm that during the period of 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019 it provided NHS Pension Scheme members with 17,187 ‘on demand’ PSSs of which 13,393 were completed on time.</p> answering member constituency Kingswood answering member printed Chris Skidmore question first answered 09/09/2019 18:38:13 answering member 4021 label Biography information for Chris Skidmore

	question text	To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what plans his Department has to consult the public on the merits of alternative methods to the first past the post system for voting in general elections.

	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/11/2017 answer text <p>The Government committed in its manifesto to retain the First Past the Post system for Parliamentary elections.</p><p>The Government’s view is that the First Past the Post system is well-established here. In each constituency, candidates are elected to represent the views of their constituents and in each case a candidate for whom more people voted than for any of the alternatives is elected.
