	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/05/2018 answer text <p>The precise way in which the Government will control migration to the UK following exit from the EU is yet to be determined.</p><p>In July 2017, the Government commissioned the independent Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to advise on the economic and social impacts of the UK’s exit from the European Union and also on how the UK’s immigration system should be aligned with a modern industrial strategy. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/10/2016 answer text <p>All individuals are referred to the UK authorities by the French non-governmental organisation, France terre d'asile and are then interviewed by French and UK officials.</p><p>Where credible and clear documentary evidence of age is not available, trained officials will use criteria including physical appearance and demeanour to assess age as part of the interview process.</p><p>Where we believe someone is significantly over the age of 18, they will be refused transfer to the UK as a child.
